September Update

Hello Lovely People

As many of you will be aware, September marks the beginning of a new Methodist year. To me, it genuinely feels more like new year than when I wake up on January 1st. I feel a sense of new things emerging and am excited about what lies ahead of us. I hope that as you pack away your umbrella's from their summer use you have a sense of expectation too.

If you're able to, we'd love for you to join us on Sundays, as well as during the other 6 days of the week when the church doors open for all kinds of things. If you can't join us in the building please meet with us online via our YouTube channel.

Over the next few weeks our city will become much busier as students arrive, either for the first time or returning for their next year of study. Welcome is something we really value at PMCH so let's to our best to make people feel 'at home' both in our church and our wonderful city.

At our most recent evening service, Mark Haydon reminded us of the words of God through the prophet Jeremiah, 'Seek the peace and the prosperity of the city to which I have carried you. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper' (Jeremiah 29:7). Will you join me in doing this?
