August Update

Dear friends, 

In some ways, with a heavy term-time programme the summer brings a bit of downtime for us at PMCH, but a brief scan at this message alone will remind you that plenty is still going on! 

In this letter we will say goodbye to two of our staff, as well as rejoicing in the arrival of three more who we will commission in September. 

Our young people are away at Satellites festival, and as I write this the sounds of screaming (in a happy way!) children, echoes from the Soft Play Cafe and the smell of hot food from the Discovery Cafe shows that the centre still remains active and open. Our foodbank continues to respond to heavy demand, reminding us that the work of caring and compassionate service never stops. 

I do hope many of you reading this will be able to enjoy a restful break - even if it's at home - and that you will experience the refreshing breeze of the Spirit this summertime.
