October Update

Dear friends,

One of the many joys of being around the congregation at PMCH currently is the number of people joining us from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.

During one of our weeks of prayer just over 18 months ago, the word was given to the church that the Lord was building us to be 'a house of prayer for all nations.' (Isaiah 56:7) I must confess that I felt the emphasis there was on being a house of prayer, yet it seems like more attention should have been on'for all nations'. For those of us in leadership the growth in people from different backgrounds is something to rejoice and delight in, and we are looking forward to doing that practically at our International Lunch on 8th October after the morning service. This is an opportunity to meet new people, experience some different food, and celebrate the diversity of our church family. Please do come and join us, even if you can't make the morning service, as we celebrate together all whom God has blessed us with at PMCH.

Whether you are able to be with us on the 8th October or not, I hope the growth in different cultures within our one church family causes you to be encouraged and to experience the joy of meeting new people and discovering new insights and perspectives on the One God whom we serve.

With love,

Gareth
